Welcome: this is one word link principally to the places call social islands. For exempre, I usully go visit the social island number 4, "Social Island, Social Island 4", in a paradisiac state of sim. This is the usually doing when you enter into second life, when you born in a new avi, pass into social island, but, you have the possibility to come back only in one part of this social island, I mean, the sim location that I wrote before, for exemple, beacuse the really starter place, isn't accessible to your avi, the second time. You can only thinking about the first part of your actual social place, walking in it. This is particular because only one time you can see the particular place referring to the social common island, one of the place more famous, generally, in sl, and, yes, is the first place that you met in sl, and you can only remember it in the first and last time that you visited it, I mean, the first day of your avi born. The first place of common social island is a territory out of every actual possibility exeperiece if you had saw it in the past. Incredible. I remember a lot my first place of born. The real one. For sure. There was a parrot. I can say: one welcome to the first location, and a lot of welcome to the second place referring to the first, lost in the hypertextual 3d world for the most.

Time ago, in social island, the welcome word had used with real avatar working for the linden lab, for second life directly management, called mentor. When you arrived in sl you can asked them about sl and they can answeared to your question fisically, as not robot but real "avi", I mean, directly talking in chat with you. Nowdays a lot changed, because I spoken about 9 years ago with this particular form of helping new born avatar in sl. Later not working avi but volunteer. Later, time passed, the voulunteers would become real worker of sl, and linden lab preferred using the nowday robot as screen media information to the new avi born. The distance grew up from linden lab, the management of sl, and you, new avy of this big family, because time pass from the old period of sl history. Nowdays you can see the message on the screen talking to you the first information about your new life in sl, like moving and so on, like if you are a real child avi and need information to how use you legs and so on. 40 cm or 2 meters is not different there. No one people working in social island, nowdays, help you directly like the past but you can feel this old sensation of start time in "Plum Welcome Area, Plum", one old fashionable historic welcome area: nowdays partially work, to remember the old feeling about sl. No one linden lab's avi, obviously, work, here, nowdays, but, if you are about child avi, I ca say to you: get started! Let's explore!
